“ We were very satisfied with our dining experience here. The food was excellent. We had the Cajun boil. Also some fried green tomatoes and two hurricanes. I read another review about the cocktails not having enough alcohol. I thought the same thing. Until you consume it. Can’t wait to go back again. ”
“ Had my two sons and their best friends with us as we were checking out the Hot Springs area. Four teenage boys can eat a lot and they all wanted to try a new experience so when I saw Red Pier I knew this could be a fun new way for them to enjoy some tasty treats like lobster tail, crawfish, Andouille sausage, clams, snow crab legs, shrimp, oysters and mussels. So I ordered three of the large sea food boils in a bags with all the above and of course corn on the cob, potatoes and boiled eggs. I ordered the Red Pier Special seasoning, one mild and two med (just in case the seasoning was a little much for the boys who had never had any Cajun before). But they all tore it up! Loved the flavors and tried everything. I was very proud of them. It was clear at first this was a new experience for the two friends, especially the use of their hands and how to crack the shells and pull the sweet tender meat out of the lobster, crab legs and crawfish (even showed how to eat the tails and suck the heads N'awlins style). They soon got the hang of it and just enjoyed the experience and great conversations and fun everyone had. Seafood was boiled expertly! Very tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly. They ate every bite and were so full they didn't even want dessert... At least until we got back to the Cabin, lol! Service was good. Only issue, I had to ask for the check twice, however a great time was had by all. Thanks Red Pier! Well done!!! ”
“ Went between lunch and dinner, so it wasn't busy. Immediately greeted and sat. I ordered a cocktail. It was very sweet and couldn't tell if it had booze or not. If so, they just waved the bottle over it. Still tasty, just wanted a cocktail, not a juice. Our waitress was great. We asked about the gumbo and were very specific. We are kinda gumbo snobs. She advised us we wouldn't be happy with the gumbo, but guaranteed everything else was good. We both got Shrimp No Heads 1 lb.Hubs also got a salad. It was a nice sized salad! They knocked it out of the park with the shrimp! It comes in a bag with corn and potato. Note: 1/2 lb only comes with broccoli instead, despite what the menu says. The shrimp was sliced and deveined, which was wonderful, It made it easy to peel-and no poop! All together with tip it was around 75. But we were happy and full. So not bad. We even took home leftovers. ”
“ Visiting from Texas. Decided to try this place. Love everything and everyone. Our server was very accommodating to the group of us. We're a very forgetful bunch and she had no issues with running back and forth to get what we needed. When we arrived we were accidentally given the lunch special menu about 30 min after they stopped serving and the server graciously allowed us to order the specials. One bag did have the wrong items in it but they quickly remade it. Another bag was missing an item and she quickly gave us what was missing. As far as the food: so fresh and so flavorful. Everything was cooked to perfection. And seasoned to perfection. ”
“ I had the pleasure of dining in with Ashley tonight. I brought in 25 people with me for my birthday dinner. She took the whole table all by herself. She did not mess up one time. We all left very happy and coming from 25 servers that’s saying a lot. Food was fresh and hot. Ashley is great Definitely great at her job. Thank u from all of us Ash ”
“ This place was SO GOOD!!! Like I can’t stop talking about it! I got 2 pounds of crawfish, 1/2 a pound of sausage and potatoes, and I was amazed with how good it was, like the flavor was just outstanding!!!! I definitely recommend this place. I am definitely coming back!! ”
“ Food was delicious.. we had the Best waitress thus far named Katie.. she was one the best hospitality workers I have ever seen. There was graduation parties going on in the area we were in.. they were swamped with parties but Katie handled everything like a professional met everyone’s needs and went above and beyond expectations!! She definitely deserves a raise! She thought of everything we needed before we asked and let us know that the kitchen was working on our food as quickly as possible.. food came in perfect timing even though they were busy. She (Katie) was so nice and attentive .. true meaning of service with a smile.. overall she was one of the best people thus far.. we loved her and the experience definitely deserved 5 stars because of Katie! Great performance and personality.. Definitely request her for your server! Great service with amazing smile! Thanks Katie for your spectacular service! We appreciate you so much!
